Steven P Dunn

Steven P. Dunn, 61, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, at JFK Community Medical Center in Edison.

Born in Red Bank to the late Raymond and Helen Dunn (nee Brady), Steven graduated from Middletown High School and went on to receive his Associate’s degree from Union Tech.

Steven worked as an HVAC Technician at Brookdale Community College and was known for his exceptional skills in HVAC and plumbing. He was an excellent mechanic and was handy with any tool.

Beyond his professional life, Steven took pleasure in working on trucks as well as acquiring the latest tools and gadgets. An avid sports fan, he fervently supported the Philadelphia Eagles and engaged in football betting as a pastime. He also loved watching old movies and had a particular fondness for Poland Spring water.

Steven was preceded in death by his brother John Dunn; sisters Suzanne and Geraldine Dunn; and niece Jacquelene Casique.

He is survived by his siblings, Helene Garcia (Eleazar) and Raymond P. Dunn; nephews Ely and Alberto Garcia; niece Susan Callahan; and great-niece Jayelene.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, 201 Vosseller Avenue, Bound Brook.

Interment will immediately follow at Bound Brook Cemetery.
