Rosa Yactayo Cueva

Rosa Yactayo Cueva, 61, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home on Friday, August 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Lima, Peru, Rosa emigrated to the United States in 1992 and made her home in Bound Brook. She embraced life with joy and strength, known for her independence, warmth, and dedication to her family. Rosa found great happiness in cooking, family gatherings, dancing, and traveling. She had a passion for clothes shopping—especially at her favorite store, Ross on Route 22—and loved tending to her garden. Rosa was deeply organized, graceful in her simplicity, and cherished life’s everyday blessings.  Above all, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter whose love and presence will be forever remembered.

She is survived by loving children, Patricia, David, Kevin, and Jonathan, her six grandchildren, Jonathan, Liam, Alexander, Noah, Mianna, Ethan; her siblings, LizJenny, Ernesto, Guillermo, and Julio and her beloved dog Sophie.

Services are private.   Arrangements are in the care of Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home,  Bound Brook.
