Richard Andrew Resuta

Richard Andrew Resuta, 58, died peacefully at his home in Newark, Delaware on November 28, 2025.

Richard was a graduate of Bound Brook High School and went on to further his education at the University of Delaware, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences.

For over 20 years, Richard devoted himself to his career as a postal worker for the United States Postal Service.

Richard was known for his fun-loving and down-to-earth personality. He had a deep affection for animals, which was most notably expressed through his love for owning horses and racing them at the track. He enjoyed sports, particularly as a passionate supporter of the Georgia Bulldogs, and spent many joyful hours collecting sports memorabilia.

Richard is survived by his brother Robert (MaryAnn), niece Emily and nephew Sean Resuta.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Carol Resuta.

Cremation was private.

A memorial service honoring Richard’s life will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on December 5, 2025, at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home in Bound Brook, NJ.
