Patricia Rick

Patricia Rick, 78, died peacefully on December 23, 2025. Born in Somerville, she was the beloved daughter of the late Arthur and Claire (Freuler) Ritchie. Patricia was a graduate of Middlesex High School, Class of 1966. She worked for many years in retail sales at Sterns and Macy’s, ultimately retiring in 2010. Patricia was a devout Catholic and a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Middlesex.

Patricia greatly enjoyed cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family—especially her daughters and grandsons. Her favorite trips included visits to Lancaster, Disney, and the Jersey Shore. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her faith, and the joy she found in everyday moments.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Francis “Poochie” in 2019 and her sister-in-law Kathryn. She is survived by her daughters, Colleen Rick and Heather Weingrad (Josh); her grandsons, Noah Rick and Zachery Cocuzzo; her siblings John, Mark (Diane), Thomas (Ellie), Mary Dietrick (Edward) and James; many nieces and nephews and close friends.

Gathering with family and friends will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, 600 Harris Avenue, Middlesex. Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mini Socialites Foundation or the American Kidney Fund
