Michael Jannone

Michael Jannone, 93, died peacefully on August 29, 2025, at the Firemen's home in Boonton, NJ.

Michael was the son of Alfred and Carmela Jannone.  

He was a lifelong resident of Bound Brook and a graduate of Bound Brook High School.

He worked at Research Cottrell for over 50 years.

Michael and Claudette were childhood sweethearts and were married for 70 years. He was by her side through every joy and challenge.

He was a passionate sports enthusiast who loved the Yankees and the Giants. He loved to golf; which was not just a hobby but a passion that provided him with solace and joy.  He also liked playing and watching basketball.

Michael was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Above all, he was a devoted family man, a pillar of strength, a beacon of love, and an unwavering source of support for his family. 

He was predeceased by his wife Claudette, sister, Flo Gallo, Adeline Carovillano and brother Sam Jannone.

Michael leaves behind his daughter Dina DelleCave and her husband Dennis, his son Chris Jannone and his wife Diane, his son John Jannone and his wife Lisa, granddaughter Toni Ianniello and her husband Jerry, granddaughter Megan Jannone, grandson John Jannone Jr., and great granddaughter Gianna Ianniello.

Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook, NJ, 08805.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 3, 2025, At St. Joseph Church, Bound Brook. Burial will follow at Bound Brook Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Firemen's home 565 Lathrop Ave., Boonton, NJ 07005.
