Louis Mondrone

Louis Mondrone, 90, of Bound Brook, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2026.

Born and raised in Bound Brook, Louis was the only son of Louis and Agnes Mondrone. A lifelong resident of the community, he took great pride in his home and cherished the simple comforts and memories it held.

In his later years, Louis was lovingly cared for by his cousins and fellow Bound Brook residents Mark and Patricia Mondrone.

Louis was a devout Catholic whose faith was an important part of his life. He also dedicated many years to educating young people, teaching English and History at South River High School before his retirement. He took pride in his work as an educator and in the many students whose lives he touched throughout his career.

Louis will be remembered for his devotion to his faith, his love of his home and community, and the lasting impact he made as a teacher.

Cremation was private. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Monday, October 5, 2026, at St. Joseph Church, Bound Brook. Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery will follow.
