Linda Canetti

Linda M. Canetti, 61, died Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at her home in Somerville. Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of Milton and Mary (Rotella) Ruzicka. Linda was a graduate of Franklin High School and had worked as a bus driver for many years. Linda loved gardening, camping and the beach. She was a proud US Marine mom, a loving mom and grandmother. Linda was predeceased by her father, Milton in 2011. She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Newton and her husband, Brian; her son Sgt. Brandon J. Hamblin; her grandchildren, Sophia and Lucas; her mother, Mary Ruzicka; her sisters, Diane Ruzicka and Janice Wickman and her husband, Tom; and her nieces and nephews Jeff, Ally, Stephanie, and Matthew. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00 PM, Monday, January 25, 2021, at St. Joseph Church in Bound Brook. Gathering with the family will begin 10:00 AM at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook. Memorial donations in Linda's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org Cremation will be private.
