Lawrence Houston

Lawrence Houston, 78, of Bridgewater died peacefully on June 6, 2026.

Born to the late Henry Allen and Emmaline Houston (nee McCain), Lawrence grew up in Edgefield, South Carolina and graduated from Andrew Jackson High School. He worked as a Supervisor for the United States Postal Service in Jamaica, New York before retiring.

Lawrence enjoyed cooking, playing lottery scratch-offs, watching television, and most of all spending time with his beloved family - especially his adored grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his brother, Harold Houston.

He is survived by his wife Gail; son Christopher; daughter Laura (Darin); grandchildren Isabel, Abigail, Anneliese, Houston, and Vivian; and sister Ellen.

Cremation was private. Services will be announced at a later date.

All arrangements are under the care and supervision of Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home.
