Born in Lowell, MA, he resided in Edison since 1956. Retired US Marine Corps Lt. Colonel, served in World War II and Korean War. Awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters. Passionate about aviation, was an avid reader, music lover, and salt water fisherman, and loved being on the ocean.
