Jorge Rentas Jr.

Jorge L. Rentas Jr., 81, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026 at his home in Bound Brook, New Jersey.

Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Jorge later made his home in Bound Brook, where he lived for over 40 years. He dedicated much of his working life to Penn Color in Pennsylvania, where he served as a supervisor for many years before retiring.

Jorge took great pride in his home and found joy in the simple routines that filled his days. He enjoyed gardening, yard work, and spending time in his basement workshop working on projects with care and patience. In his leisure time, Jorge enjoyed watching baseball, rooting for either the Pittsburgh Pirates or NY Yankees.

Jorge will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his warm and welcoming demeanor, and the steady, thoughtful way he lived his life. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

Jorge was predeceased by his stepdaughter, Sharon, his brother Ruben and sister Martha; He is survived by his daughter, Maria and son, Jorge III; his life partner, Dorothy; his stepchildren Bonnie, Walter, and Raymond; his 27 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren to whom he was a loving and caring Pop Pop, and his siblings, Angel, Tony, Orlando, Elba, and Marilyn.

Gathering with the family will be 2:00 to 5:00 PM, Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook, NJ 08805 with a prayer service beginning at 4:30 PM.

Cremation will be private.

All arrangements are under the care and supervision of Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home.
