John Andrew Wood

John A. Wood, 61, passed away at his home on October 22, 2025, after a long illness. Born in Somerville, he was a lifelong resident of Bridgewater. He was the son of the late John L. and Lois (Zinker) Wood.

John was a 1983 graduate of Bridgewater-Raritan High School East and dedicated his career to the field of electronics assembly, most recently working for CG Automation Solutions in Springfield.

Outside of work, John had a passion for cars and politics, and was an avid admirer of 70's music and movies, interests that brought him much joy over the years.

John is survived by his brother Gary of Athol, MA; his sisters Audrey O’Gorman (Ken) of Flemington and Elizabeth Kutner (Jeff) of Somerset; nieces Katie, Kristen, and Nicole; and nephews Ryan and Josh. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Services will be private. All arrangements are under the care and supervision of Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home. Interment will be at Bound Brook Cemetery.
