Joanne R Pugliese

Joanne Pugliese, 85, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, at Laurel Circle. Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of Anthony and Carmella (Pirone) Savage. A longtime resident of Bound Brook, Joanne began dating Carmine Pugliese and eventually they wed, settling in Bound Brook to raise their family.

Joanne was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was devoted to her family. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Bound Brook and a High School Class of ’58 Reunion Committee member.

Joanne was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Carmine Sr. in 2023, her brothers Anthony Savage Jr., and Robert Savage.

She is survived by her son Carmine Jr. and his wife, Michelle; daughter Rosanne Pugliese and her husband Bill Dudine; daughter Laura Hambrick; sisters-in-law Sue (DE) and Cathy (SC); grandchildren Billy Dudine and his wife, Fiona; Jake Hambrick and his wife Nicole; Vincent Dudine and his wife, Meg; Andrew Pugliese and James Pugliese; and great-grandchildren Savannah and Colton Hambrick.

Gathering with the family will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook NJ, 08805.

A funeral mass will begin at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at St. Joseph Church, 111 E High St, Bound Brook.  Friends and family are welcome to gather at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m.

Burial at Resurrection Cemetery will follow.
