Jessica Martinez, a soul who touched the lives of everyone she met, passed away on July 17, 2025, in New Brunswick, NJ.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on June 3, 1996, her family moved to Bound Brook in the summer of 2000 to be closer to relatives.
Educated at Somerville Middle School and later attending Somerset VoTech, Jessica pursued her passion for beauty, earning her cosmetology license.
Her artistic side found expression in various hobbies—cooking, drawing, singing, writing, and photography. A lover of Christian music and reggaeton, she was musically gifted and even wrote a song for her husband. She loved learning and was always open to new ideas. Jessica’s passion for life was infectious, and her ability to uplift those around her was a testament to her loving nature. She was known for her playful sense of humor, love for pranks, and positive attitude.
Her love story with Julian began serendipitously on her birthday in 2015, a connection that blossomed into a beautiful marriage lasting seven years and their two adored children, Jaziah and Azalia. Together, they celebrated moments of joy, including an unforgettable trip to Puerto Rico, where they cherished Easter celebrations and created lasting memories as a family.
She is survived by her cherished husband, Julian; her beloved children, Jaziah and Azalia; her siblings—Stephanie, Rene, Jeremy, Janet, Daisy, Krystal, and Steven; her mother Felicita Nieves; her grandmother Dora Dalmasi; her father-in-law Juan Martinez and mother-in-law Ivette Martinez; and many extended relatives and friends who will forever hold her close in their hearts.
As we say goodbye to Jessica, let us remember her not only for the love she gave but also for the light she brought into our lives. Her resilience, creativity, and unyielding faith will continue to inspire us.
