James "Jimmy" Fisher, Jr. passed suddenly on Wednesday 5/21/2025.
Jimmy was raised in South Bound Brook, NJ where he was a member of Our Lady of Mercy church where he served as an altar boy and a Scout in Troop 42. He attended Immaculata High School where he was a drummer and Raritan Valley Community College before starting his career in retail and grocery.
In 2018, he relocated to Florida to take a job with Publix. In his personal time there, he flourished as an avid fishing and kayaking enthusiast, and embraced the Florida culture. He was an animal lover as both a wildlife conservationist and pet owner.
He was the boisterously fun uncle as "Uncle Jimmy" to neices and nephews as well as his friends' children. Jimmy went by various nicknames in different circles; Jim, Jimmy, Jamie, James, Fisher, or Fish. If you knew him as a son, brother, cousin, or friend, he was quick to adventure and humor to keep joy to those around him.
Jimmy is predeceased by his mother, Theresa (Bariexca) Fisher.
Jimmy is survived by his father, James H. Fisher, brother Sean Fisher and his wife April, and nephews Sean and Seamus.
