George J. Hartobey

George J. Hartobey, 73, a longtime resident of Piscatway, New Jersey, passed away at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick on October 31, 2026.

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Hartobey will be cremated. The family will honor his memory privately.

Throughout his career, Mr. Hartobey worked as a mechanic, tow truck operator, landscaper, and small business owner. He was a car enthusiast and avid boater who especially enjoyed saltwater fishing.

He is survived by his daughters, Christine Hartobey, Kimberly Reynolds, and Lisa Hartobey; his son-in-law, Ken Reynolds; his grandsons, Aaron Reynolds and Colin Reynolds; his sisters, Gloria Bowser, Deborah Hartobey, and Jeanette Glazebrook; and his brother, Thomas Hartobey, as well as many other relatives and friends.
