Frances Balsano

Frances Balsano, age 81, of Bound Brook, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in San Donato Di Ninea, Prov. Cosenza, Italy. She was the daughter of Domenico and Saveria Morano. Frances settled down in Bound Brook to raise her beautiful daughters. She worked at Somerset Medical Center in the housekeeping department for over 30 years, retiring in 2006. Frances had a passion for dance, enjoyed going on vacations to the beach, and spending quality time with all her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She lit up every room she walked into. Mrs. Balsano is survived by three loving daughters; Roseanne Robb, Jennie Burkert, and her late husband John, Sarah La Stella and her husband Rick; two brothers Vincent Morano and his wife Maria, and Frank Morano and his wife Palmira. Her eight grandchildren Jennifer, Cristina, Michael, Brianna, Johnny, Ricky, Katelyn, and Joey; three great-grandchildren; Isabella, Alexis, and Alianna; and many extended family including nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Domenico and Saveria Morano, her dearest sister; Rosina Todaro, and her granddaughter Jessica. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a viewing on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm at the Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook. Funeral will be on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at 8:45am from the Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home then proceeding to St. Mary’s R.C. Church in Bound Brook, where a Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Bound Brook Cemetery.
