Elvira D'Alessandro

Elvira J. D'Alessandro, died on Saturday, January 24, 2026.  Born on November 17, 1923, in Brooklyn, New York, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whose life was centered on faith, family and love.  

Elvira was married for 50 years to her beloved husband, Michele D'Alessandro II, who preceded her in death. Together they built a strong and loving family that was the pride and joy of her life. 

She was a loving mother to Caroline Radice, Michele D'Alessandro III, the late Thomas V. D'Alessandro, Richard D'Alessandro, Cynthia Griffith, and Vincent D'Alessandro. 

Elvira was a cherished grandmother to eight and great-grandmother to thirteen, each of whom brought her immense happiness.

A longtime resident of Bound Brook, New Jersey, Elvira was known for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering dedication to her family. She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and deep love she shared with all who knew her. 

Services will be private, with interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.
