Doris Casale

La Guerre Est Finie Doris (Bedner) Casale, 78, died Monday, May 8, 2017, at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Bound Brook, she was the daughter of Michael and Mary (Yurasek) Bedner. Doris graduated St. Peter’s High School, New Brunswick, in 1956, and graduated Drake Business School. Doris grew up in Bound Brook. Married in 1968, she met her husband, Joseph, in high school. In 1970 they moved to South Bound Brook. She and Joseph sang in many local church choirs within the Diocese of Metuchen. Doris is survived by her loving husband of forty-nine years, Joseph J. Casale of South Bound Brook; her son, Matthew, wife Jenni Casale, and grandson, Ethan Casale, of Asheville, North Carolina. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass celebrating the life of Doris at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 3, 2017, at St. Joseph Church in Bound Brook. Cremation is private.
