Dolores Borello, resident of Somerset NJ, passed away on April 11, 2026 at the age of 84.
Born on June 18, 1941 and raised in Jersey City, NJ, in her later years she moved to Woodbridge to start a family with her late husband Ronald Borello Sr.
Dolores was preceded in death by her son George Borello, who she will embrace with open loving arms; her parents Antoinette and Milton Brombacher; and her brother Micheal Brombacher.
She is survived by her children Tina Hriczo and her husband Bertalan Hriczo, Rita Baker and her husband Earl Baker, Rose Borello, and Ronnie Borello Jr. and his wife Sue Borello; grandchildren Gianna Hriczo, Tina Borello, Donnie Borello, Brittany Gissendanner, Brandon Borello, Vinnie Borello, Zachary Borello, and Devin Borello; great-granddaughter Sadie Jackson; and her sister Elaine Quigley.
Dolores’s greatest pride and joy was being a mother to her 5 children. She always talked and told her children just how important and loved they were by her. She was one of the most loving, caring and kindest mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. She prided herself on being a mother first, a homemaker, and a wife. Before she married and had children, she worked as a secretary at a firm in New York City. She also worked at Champion Uniform in Fords for 20 years before retiring from there. In her spare time she loved to take trips to outings with resident friends from her Senior Building in Somerset, where she resided for the last 17 years. Her days were mostly booked throughout the week going to different events. She liked to paint and create arts and crafts. She was fond of reading love novels and watching Romantic lifetime movies. Dolores had lots of friends and kept busy with them as well. She enjoyed special outings and time spent with her granddaughter Giannna Hriczo, which she always cherished. Our mother loved to dance and sing, if there was a dance floor she was on it! Most people that knew our mother or met her instantly fell in love with her. She was magnetic, energetic, vibrant, youthful looking and full of spirit. We as her kids would describe her as an Angel, a God sent. She always had a way of making you feel most important and loved.
In death we will remember and never forget just how important and loved she was by all of us.
