Carolyn Bjorlo

Carolyn Bjorlo, 64, of Bound Brook, New Jersey passed away unexpectedly on February 20, 2026.

Carolyn was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Einar and Lillian Litland Bjorlo, and is survived by her husband Roger Weil, siblings, nieces and nephews. Carolyn was raised in South Plainfield, New Jersey, graduating from South Plainfield Highschool in 1979, and subsequently earning a Bachelor’s Degree from Kean College of New Jersey in 1983.

After her studies, Carolyn began a long and successful career with AT&T, holding various positions, culminating with her retirement after thirty-two years of service. Carolyn then began a second career, creating Blonde On Books, an international book dealing business.

Committed to the cause of animal welfare, Carolyn raised several of her own beloved pets with her husband, while indulging her passions for travel, art, painting, listening to music and attending concerts, reading non-fiction, life at the beach, expanding her collection of beauty and makeup products, and renovating and refining her beautiful homes. In addition to having a curious intellect and sharp wit, Carolyn had a great sense of humor, often expressed in practical jokes, frequently played on longtime friends with whom she also shared her warmth, compassion, generosity, support and love. Carolyn was truly as beautiful on the outside as she was on the inside. Carolyn’s husband Roger will continue to miss her laughter, and her ever willingness to please and problem solve, as she was an invaluable partner in their 42 years together. Carolyn will be loved and missed forever by all those whose lives were brightened by her presence.

A private memorial was held on May 12, 2026 to honor her life and her memory.
