Carol Magliochetti, a longtime resident of Bridgewater, New Jersey, passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 88.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, on June 11, 1938, Carol grew up in Middlesex, New Jersey, and graduated from Bound Brook High School. She went on to earn her degree from Rutgers University and devoted her professional life to education as a high school English teacher at Bridgewater-Raritan High School West.
Carol was a longtime and dedicated member of The Bound Brook Presbyterian Church, where she faithfully served on the consistory. She took great joy in entertaining friends and in travel, especially cruises.
She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Achille Magliochetti of Bridgewater, and by her son, Vincent Philip James Magliochetti.
She is survived by her son, Scott Magliochetti; her daughter-in-law, Christina Magliochetti of Skillman, New Jersey; her granddaughter, Concetta Mary Magliochetti of Charlotte, North Carolina; her grandson, Vincent John Magliochetti and his wife, McKenna Magliochetti, of McAdenville, North Carolina; her grandson, Angelo Dawson Magliochetti of Skillman, New Jersey; and her grandson, Christopher James Magliochetti of Raleigh, North Carolina.
Carol will be remembered for her love of family, her commitment to teaching and her church, and the warmth she brought to gatherings of friends.
Gathering with family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook.
A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 28, 2026 at the Bound Brook Presbyterian Church, 409 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook.
Interment to immediately follow at Bound Brook Cemetery.
