Carol Ann Klemm, 74, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025, at her home surrounded by family. Born in Queens, NY, Carol was the daughter of the late Charles and Lorraine LaPadula. In 1999, she and her husband Joe moved to Bridgewater, NJ. For many years she worked as a nurse’s aide at Elmhurst Hospital and then later at Hunterdon Medical Center where her caring nature and compassion touched the lives of countless patients and their families. Carol was the unofficial official Somerset County “Temu Ambassador,” delighting in the joy of receiving countless packages on a daily basis, all intended as gifts for others. Her love of decorating the house for each and every holiday was legendary and her gift-giving spirit knew no bounds especially at Christmas. Carol found happiness in making others feel special. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. She took immense pride in dedicating her life to raising and caring for her granddaughters. Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of her boundless heart.
Carol was predeceased by her son Joey in 2012, and her husband Joe in 2019. She is survived by her daughter Dawn Klemm-Thomson, and her husband James; sisters Phyllis McCoy and Dianne Duchesne and her husband Paul; and granddaughters Kristyn and Jamie.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Kensico Cemetery 273 Lakeview Avenue, Valhalla, NY 10595. Arrangements are in the care of Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, Bound Brook, NJ 08805
