Genevie Patullo

Genevie “Jay” Patullo, 97, died Saturday, December 3, 2022, in her loving daughters' arms at Alexandria Manor in Nazareth, PA. Born in Bound Brook, Genevie was the daughter of John and Jennie ( Gaieski ) Figel. Genevie graduated Bound Brook High School in 1942 and went on to work for 28 years as an administrative secretary with Johns Manville. She married her high school sweetheart, Frank in 1947, and shortly thereafter they began building their family home in Bridgewater – brick by brick from the back of their ’51 Plymouth station wagon. She and Frank remained in their family home until they moved to Pennsylvania 15 years ago. While in Bridgewater, she was a communicant of St. Mary of Czestochowa in Bound Brook. Genevie loved baking and gardening.

She was a loving and caring woman, with a great sense of humor.

Genevie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank in 2018; her brother Martin Figel and sisters Frances Spencer and Mary Oliver. She leaves behind her four children Gary and his wife Linda of Weston, FL; Robert and his wife Sandra of Doylestown, PA; Lynda Guarino and her husband Steven of Nazareth, PA; and Gayle Fodera and her husband Robert of Hillsborough, NJ ; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Services were private and in the care of Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, Bound Brook NJ.
